  1. The team enjoyed the investigation at Cockliffe House, we are reviewing footage from the event at this time and looking at names and events our mediums came up with.

Hopefully we’ll have the opportunity to return in the future to continue the research

  2. When I was a child (40 years ago!) in the 1966 – 1968 time span our Scout group (105 St. Judes) walked near your site. It was mentioned our old Scout group stayed in the grounds of the Hotel. The memory is dim and after forty years is certainly not accurate. I did not stay but the older Scouts told me they did.

Some of the old boys still walk in the country. We did walk past your place the other week. I moved on to be with the 1st Porchester the next door Scout troop via other groups. Some of our leaders (like me) are from the old 105th St. Judes group.

I did hear mention of Ghosts and things second hand and the accuracy is open to question.

NB your Hotel is on one of my check points for timing even after all these years. There may have been a change of ownership as I was told (many years ago?) they no longer accepted Scouts camping in the grounds. Although the accuracy of an elderly memory is open to serious doubt. Also the memory is second hand if not more removed.

  3. Was a pleasure to conduct an investigation at Cockliffe country house, we all really enjoyed it and hope to be able to return again.
